Port Macquarie Table Tennis Club
Port Macquarie Table Tennis Club Inc. is a community-based sporting club welcoming table tennis players of all ages and abilities.
Whether you’re a beginner picking up a bat for the first time, an experienced player looking for a competitive hit, or somewhere in between, you’re welcome to join us. We also welcome visitors from other table tennis clubs around Australia.
Our aim is to promote and enjoy the sport of table tennis while providing a friendly and welcoming environment for our members.
People play for many different reasons — to keep fit, meet people, improve their skills, challenge themselves, compete, or simply have fun.
Our members range from juniors through to seniors, including members with disabilities. We enjoy having a good mix of ages and playing abilities within the club.
Depending on the venue and the number of players attending, we generally play on between 4 and 6 tables. Players are able to mix with others of different abilities, from beginners through to accomplished players.
The format of each session can vary depending on the venue and the players attending, helping us cater for both social and more competitive styles of play.
Our Sunday sessions are geared towards a mixture of social and competitive players. Cost $5.00.
On Mondays and Wednesdays, we also have a robot and practice net available in a separate room, providing an opportunity for players to work on their technique and improve their shots at their own pace. Cost $7.00.
The club does not provide formal coaching.
However, we do have qualified coaches within the club who may be available to provide private coaching by arrangement. Any coaching fees are payable directly to the coach.
Our Club Championship returns in October 2026, providing members with the opportunity to compete against other club members.
Inter-club competitions are also held regularly throughout the year for eligible club members.
Whether you enjoy table tennis socially or like the challenge of competition, there is a place for you at Port Macquarie Table Tennis Club.
